If you care for a young person with SEND in Y9 or above, you are warmly invited to attend our Preparing for Adulthood Conference on Wednesday 22nd February 2023. PPCV have spoken to the local authority and they have agreed that young people of year 9 and above with SEND are able to attend as an educational visit with school permission.
The aim of this conference is to make families aware of the support available to help their young person with SEND as they prepare for adulthood.
Similar to our SEND & Celebration, we are running a number of talk sessions that you are welcome to book. We also have a hall full of service providers who are looking forward to meeting you for informal discussions about your young person’s options for the future. Feel free to browse the stalls at your leisure.
You may attend with or without your young person, but you must register in advance. Register here.
This event at Plymouth Guildhall (PL1 2AA) is FREE. There will also be FREE light refreshments throughout the day.
