Response from Plymouth City Council regarding PIAS Consultation
Please find below a response from Plymouth City Council with regards to the PIAS Consultation:

“We would like to thank parents, carers, practitioners and external stakeholders for their engagement and feedback received during the Plymouth Information Advice and Support for SEND (PIASS) consultation process. We are grateful for your attendance at the meetings, and we truly appreciate the advice and feedback you have provided. The consultation meetings were well attended, and we have had a significant amount of information and feedback to review.

Please be assured that all feedback is being treated seriously, and it will be taken into account when determining the outcome of the consultation. In addition to the feedback, we have also received an alternative restructure proposal from the PIASS team, which we are also taking into consideration. This will require a further short consultation with staff and trade unions. The timeline for this to be completed will be w/c 10 March 2025.

We will be in contact mid March with the outcome of the consultation.”
